One morning in early February we received a Facebook message asking if we would be willing to travel to North Dakota with our petting zoo. It seemed crazy and impossible for our set up at the time, but it sounded to fun to pass up, plus during spring break making a great opportunity to travel as a whole group! So we accepted the invitation and started to prepare for the trip. We found an adorable little one horse trailer perfect for cocoa misty, and an assortment of goats, we painted our name and come cute ponies on the side and set up our van to be able to pull it. We also decided this was a great time to expand what we do, so we created the first Snake River Doodles, Therapy Animals and Friends merchandise. Including key chains with our adorable animals and some with thermometers on the back, fun stuffed farm animals, and a few other fun things for kid. On the way there our trailer hitch broke and we got a caught in a crazy storm, but we made it on time and had lots of fun with over 4000 people! During this 2 day event people could come see Cocoa and Misty, a few of our baby goat, and baby bunnies. Cocoa and Misty loved running in the parking lot and putting on a show for anyone outside of the event. Our baby goats took turns jumping out of their enclosure and trying to get to all the kids waiting outside the door. The baby bunnies found a new home with a super nice man and his adorable wife and baby. The volunteers, well they had fun in there Hotel's along the way, and of course teaching all the people about our therapy animals!
